Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

• The Journal publishes original articles and reviews containing new scientific results in various fields of natural sciences.
• The number of pages should not exceed 25 (50 pages for reviews), including figures, tables, and references.
• The signature of each Author at the bottom of the manuscript certifies compliance with the following statements:
1. The submitted material has never been published before and is not under consideration for publication in any other periodicals.
2. The Authors do not have a conflict of interests related to the article.
3. The Authors have read and understood the Instructions.
4. The Authors agree that their personal data (first name, middle name, last name, academic degree, academic status, job position, employing company, e-mail address) will be stored and processed.
5. The Authors give their consent to the indexing of their published paper in full-text databases.
• The above-noted statements must be printed at the end of the manuscript.

Manuscripts must be submitted via Uchenye Zapiski Kazanskogo Universiteta. Seriya Estestvennye Nauki Online Submission and Editorial System (https://uzakuesc.elpub.ru/jour/author/submit ) according to the Instructions for Authors. An electronic version of the manus­cript prepared according to the template (Manuscript template).  

• All manuscripts submitted to the Editors of Uchenye Zapiski Kazanskogo Universiteta. Seriya Estestvennye Nauki are checked for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Articles that contain elements of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism will be immediately rejected, and the Authors of these articles will be barred from publishing their works in Uchenye Zapiski in the future.
• The Editors will not consider articles that:
1. are not arranged according to the formatting rules;
2. are not scientific in style;
3. contain elements of plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism, serious grammatical mistakes, and improperly arranged references.
• Manus­cripts rejected by the Editorial Board at the stage of pre-review are not subject to further consideration or resubmission. No reasons for pre-review rejection decisions are disclosed.
• All manus­cripts are reviewed. The final decision on the publication of the article is made by the Editorial Board and Editor-in-Chief (Deputy Editor-in-Chief) of the Journal based on the Reviewer's report. If an unfavorable report is received, the manus­cript is sent out for re-review. If the manus­cript does not meet the format requirements, the Editorial Board reserves the right to return it to the authors without review.
• Submission, processing, and publication of papers are free of charge.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The manuscripts has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

2. The materials are prepared in a format Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

4. Text is formatted according to the Journal template.

5. Text follows the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

6. Authors confirm that Artificial Intelligence Generated Content tools and AI-assisted technologies have not been used during manuscript preparation.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Privacy Statement

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
