Дополнительно подтверждено, что в период с 1900 по 2023 г. количество природных катастроф достигало своего максимума в широтном поясе 30° с. ш. – 30° ю. ш. нашей планеты. Установлено, что во время волновых циклов, сопровождающихся ростом и снижением количества природных катастроф, происходят изменения в структуре проявляющихся типов и подтипов природных катастроф. Так, в период общего роста количества природных катастроф, вызванных изменениями, связанными с солнечной активностью, происходит увеличение количества климатических, гидрологических и биологических катастроф, и наоборот, сокращается число геофизических и метеорологических катастроф. В период общего сокращения количества природных катастроф с 2001 по 2023 г. происходит сокращение климатических, геофизических и биологических катастроф, растет количество гидрологических катастроф, и только число метеорологических катастроф остаётся неизменным.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article examines the influence of wave cycles on major structural changes in the development of natural disasters worldwide from 1900 to 2023. During this period, natural disasters were most common in the latitudinal band between 30° N and 30° S. The results of the analysis show that structural changes in natural disaster types and subtypes coincide with wave cycles, which are characterized by fluctuations in the frequency of natural hazards. Hence, an overall increase in the number of natural disasters linked to solar activity is associated with a rise in the frequency of climatic, hydrological, and biological hazards, while the frequency of geophysical and meteorological hazards gets lower.
